Congrats. Once again you kill your own argument with hyperbole.

The part you got right? People need to stop making excuses for Oden. "Oh, he woulda been a 10 time all-star, if he hadn't missed those 10 seasons in prison!" You should have stopped right there.

The whole "he sucks, he stinks" adds nothing to the discussion and just serves to annoy people. He may be disappointing - but when he plays, he still has a net positive impact.

If Mixum ignores his promise, what happens? Nothing.... I doubt the mods will do anything about it, and it's against the rules to attack another poster. Face it Blazer fans, we're stuck with Mixum forever. I'm not convinced he will magically ride off into the sunset after we secure our playoff spot.

You need to appreciate it. It is not often you see someone digging a hole just to jump and break his knees in it. It is crude slapstick humor - but it is still funny.

I think MIXUM is a man of his word. Anyway, recently he hasn't been bad at all (it does seem odd he only posts when the Blazers lose though).

Speaking of injuries, whatever happened to the conspiracy theory about him waiting to have surgery until after the season ticket promotion went on sale. What is the exact date for that?

The cool thing about watching Greg right now is even when he's struggling, you can still see how much potential he has. Next year, with work this summer, he'll be a 12/10 guy easily.

I think an entire summer of working on his game will do him some good, and I really think he should play in the summer league.

Greg just needs to say to himself while on the court: " Am I in good position? If not, I don't make a play on the ball or person with the ball!!!" His mistakes are always him trying to get a play where he has no leverage. Taking on a PG on the baseline is a huge NO NO!!!!! He's going to lose every time. When he's on offense and he doesn't get the board, don't attack the ball when ya are so far out of position. Easy simple mental hickups he has to think through. His fouls are all easy to fix mental blunders!

    Got to think BIG O!!!!

    It's very simple fix.

When he posts no one, and I mean no one responds.

If he starts a thread no one joins in.

Children who whine or complain will stop eventually if no one pays any attention to them.

Does anyone ever get the irrational thought that Greg fouls on purpose because he doesn't want to be on the floor?

I said it was irrational. But last night I actually pondered that for a minute.

Greg still thinks he's at OSU where he could do anything to anyone at anytime and he'd be put on sportcenter as a GOD!

I don't. I saw G.O. purposefully try to avoid contact but still get the foul called on him, and he looked pretty frustrated. It's a really weird thing going on, I don't think I've ever seen a player in NBA history deal with so much foul trouble every time he's on the floor.

Not entirely irrational. If his knee is hurting him, he may be hacking out of frustration.

Really? I don't think that is a good idea at all. It is so un organized and so many hacks trying to make a name for themselves without any regard to anyone's safety. Greg would would be triple teamed and fouled on every move. I don't want to baby the guy, but it seems risky. he needs to be completely healthy. And i am not sure he is.
