Could you imagine the outrage in LA? :devilwink:

I mean if they don't win it all this season, wouldn't Kobe have to consider going elsewhere to get some more rings. There are several teams in the West that are getting better each year, so I would think that Kobe might look East for the opportunity to win. Perhaps Cleveland to team up with LBJ. :dunno:

He's on an elite team. I sincerely doubt he's going to give up the cash (no one else can offer him as much as LA), the market, the city he loves and the glamour of the Lakers to join another team. If the Lakers were crap, or even a lower-tier playoff team, it might be possible. But they're arguably the second-best team in the NBA and potentially the best with a healthy Bynum.

Please tell me. How does this thread stay in the Blazer forum, while my watching Blazers on TV thread gets moved over to OT?

For the record, I have no problem with this thread being here, I'm just wonder what differentiated the other thread??

Not about basketball. We've generally allowed NBA-related OT to remain in this forum, but "living one's life" stuff goes to the OT forum. The best places to go to watch games is more about personal life than about basketball. We've had other threads about watching games, where to go, what drinks you smuggle in and they've generally been OT forum.

It's subjective, obviously. Lots of threads have some overlap with Portland, the Blazers or basketball, so there's no single rule that can be applied automatically.

Dude, I'm talking about coming back to Portland (after 12 years) to watch a "playoff" game....in a "playoff" atmosphere.....with fellow Blazer "crazies".

    Yeesh, cut me some slack......Kobe.

So it sounds like it's about you. ;) That seems OT. The thread hasn't been deleted, you know...you can still get the advice. It's just not about basketball analysis or commentary, so best done in that forum.

Anyway, rather that disrupting this thread, how about PMing me to argue about it? Or any of the other mods, if you'd prefer to talk to someone else.

It's about me interacting with other Blazer fans......in Portland....yes. Hopefully, some from this forum....as opposed to politics and babeland.

    Do as you wish..........Kobe.

I want to thank Mistrel for typing all my opinions before me so I don't waste the time. For example, in this case I agree 100% with him about reasons Kobe won't leave and also about what constitutes OT. Although, as mentioned, certainly no problem with ABM's thread in main forum.
