Congrats to Kidd. I watched that game and he was at his best.

Pretty impressive. All he has to do is play 9 or 10 more years and then he can catch John Stockton.

He should be able to pass Mark Jackson with ease...but he's not catching Stockton.

Congrats to Kidd though, hell of a feat.

Jason Kidd is awesome. He's greater than Magic Johnson as a PG because of his longevity.

Uhh...you are aware that a big reason why Magic retired was because of his HIV, right? That's kind of out of his control. And he's not greater than Magic as PG. I would venture to say that Magic is the best PG to ever play the game, at worst #2 behind Mr. Stockton.

Kidd can play until he is 80 and he won't be a better pg than Magic Johnson.

I would have to say that it is more likely that Kidd might be his equal if Magic had retired after his rookie year.

I can't imagine one person that would draft Stockton over Magic today that isn't a Utah Jazz fan. Stockton was great, don't get me wrong but using a Utah fan's stupid Deron is Deron quote....Magic was Magic.

Yeah, Stockton was pretty amazing. 14 APG is unbelievable and don't ever think it can be done again - at least not for a long while.

Put Chris Paul in a Mike D'Antoni-esque system with a bunch of shooters and I think he'd have a great shot at it. He's already put up 11apg for an entire season on a team that doesn't play nearly as fast as D'Antoni does.
