What are some of your thoughts for the upcoming season? Will we do good under Cable? Will JaMarcus have a breakout season? etc.
There will be signs of improvement, but I can't see the Raiders contending for anything. 6-8 wins. McFadden has a breakout year.
Pretty much agree. Our run defense is still going to suck ass unless we upgrade the D-line/SLB/S positions via the draft. The O-line should be better and once again really good in run blocking but probably not so great in pass protection. WR is slightly upgraded with Higgins and Shields as the starters from day one but they're still far below the NFL average. Zach Miller could have a HUGE year if the O-Line does its job and he isn't needed to help out on blocking all the time. I think Russell will make more steady improvements- the O-Line and WR corps have both upgraded a bit from last year's crew and we haven't even reached the draft yet. Our run game ought to be money again as well with the new O-lineman and Fargas, McFad, and Bush returning.
