    Hello darkness, my old friend
Wow. Crushing. If he can't play in the playoffs, San Antonio isn't any type of contender. Duncan and Parker are better, but Ginobili is crucial.

Wow, that sucks for San Antonio. I bet Pop is pissed since didn't he ask Manu not to play in the Olympics because of an injury he had?
    Bring on the Spurs!

    Huge loss for them.

Makes us match up with SA all that much better.

Not sure about that. The Lakers are doing pretty well without Andrew Bynum. Any team with Tim Duncan and Tony Parker is going to give you all you can handle.

They are still tough, but Pop can't be happy about this!

Of the top 4 teams, LA, Denver, Houston and San Antonio, the Spurs are who I hope we play in the first round. Duncan is really aging fast, Manu is out, only Parker is his normal superstar self. I am not saying they would be a pushover, but I think the Blazers would stand a decent shot at beating them in 7 games. My second choice would be Denver, but they are playing so well right now that the scare me.

Maybe the Spurs should trade Duncan for RLEC once our seasons are over. :)

You have to think Houston goes to the 3rd seed now, making it a series between Blazers and Spurs. And hell, Blazers could get the 4 seed and SA 5 seed. HCA: Blazers.

Man, these next 3 games could seal our HCA fate, we really need to win in SA!
houston has a tough road ahead, if we just win out, i think we could get 3rd.

HOW and where do we sign up to play the SPURS in the first round? The Spurs just look tired and beaten right now. No Manu is huge and we could beat these guys. This is our perfect 1st round wave! How do our boys do it?

We beat the Spurs on Wednesday, helping the Rockets pass them up for the 3rd seed, so that we get them in the 4-5 matchup. Piece of cake.

The Spurs have played essentially the entire year without Manu anways, and are still above us in the standings... And there's really no debate about who has more playoff experience.

No matter who we draw in the first round it will be extremely difficult if we don't have home court advantage. We just can't win on the road against good teams. But maybe they'll shock us all and do it when it counts.

Terrible news for the Spurs, but if they slip to the five spot and we move up to the four great news for the Blazers! With HCA we are at least making it through the first round.
