They'd still beat you. A team coached by pop with so much experience will find a way to beat the inexperienced road sucky-blazers.

However, I think they are gonna rest Duncan, so I suppose if it's only parker, you have a shot.

If we have HCA, we win.

Well, with or without Ginobili, I'd rather have the Blazers face the Spurs. The Rockets are a nightmare for us. They're, IMO, the worst draw. I'd rather play the Lakers. Really.

im a man of my word.

with that said... i really do think we have a chance at the spurs with or without home court.

houston.... we just don't match up well with. Artest is a blazer killer. Scola (who has joined my list of players i hate such as Reggie Evans, Kenyon Martin, Chris Wilcox, Kevin Garnett etc) is the type of player who typically kills us. Yao is just flat out better then either of our centers. i mean right now its just the truth. not being negative at all. we would need home court to beat houston so im hoping for SA.

He hasn't played much for them anyway, and they are still a very formidable team. We kicked their ass in Portland, and they kicked ours in San Antonio without Manu. If Duncan or Parker went out for the season, that would be a MAJOR blow to San Antonio.

Have you been watching any spurs games? He's barely getting by nowadays, his knees are giving him trouble again. It makes no sense for the spurs to play him at this point.

    SHITFUCK.

That was the one team I was confident would beat the Lakers. Now the only real threat left to them is the Rockets.

there was no chance in hell a healthy spurs team had any chance without HCA vs LA..c'mon LA disposed of them in 5 last year without Bynum and the spurs were healthy. SAS is done.

Duncan's knees are shot right now. That road game in SA is very winnable for us. We must win tonight and again at San Antonio. I can almost taste that HCA!

I thought the bet was that there would be no negative posts until next year. Now, it's after the draft? I call BS.

The Rockets are not that damn good! The Laker beat them with argueably a softer cast of characters than we have. Of course Kobe is Kobe but you can't tell me that the Laker Euro crew is tougher than our guys? It comes down to mind set! I've got to believe that if Joel and GO get evil out there that Yao can be neutralized. They just have to attack his lurch like feet and get to the line. The Rockets have no answer for LA and this might be a great series to bring in Shavlick for gritty bumping board assaults and use Bayless on Wafer and Dixon. Nate is going to have use some different options. Sergio is just not a good fit for a Rockets matchup and Bayless would match the energy of Wafer and Dixon. I just know it! Bayless could also attack the rim and get Yao and company into foul trouble. Can't just be Roy and LA in a series with these guys!

My rules for beating the Rockets:

Joel and GO attack Yao in the paint and get him in foul trouble in the first half
    Play our tempo not theirs!
    Make our free throws
Bump back over and over again and know it's a street fight!
Use Bayless to go after Wafer and Dixon and do it early as to not let these
    guys build momentum
When our boys push tempo they win! Our boys have to remember that the Rockets aren't that fast and Artest is like 33 now. Run his ass! Same for Yao and it's not like Wafer and Dixon are strong guys, Bayless should be able to make them miserable.

I still hope we can grab the Spurs in the first round!

Just because every major player on the Spurs was playing doesn't mean they were healthy.

Surely you jest? Lakers swept them in the regular season, how do you think the playoffs will go?

That is assuming they even make it to the second round(only will if they get the blazers).
