If we beat San Antonio tomorrow, we'll be in a three-way tie with SAS and HOU for 3rd in the west (well, not taking into account tie-breakers . . .)

Of course, if we lose we could find ourselves tied with the Hornets for 5th, if they beat the Suns.

That's how tight the west is. We don't have any tie breakers, do we?

If we win tomorrow, we will win the season series against the Spurs 3-1, pushing us up to 4th and San Antonio down to 5th.

Duncan is hurt so he will get normal minutes or partial. This our chance to take on the Spurs. This would be a milestone achievement if we could pull off the win. It all depends on how motivated our squad is tomorrow to take on this Spurs weakness.

Spurs played tonight and as they are an old team we should have a little more energy tomorrow after coming out so flat today.

Just say the game is going to be a war and there is a good chance Parker will surrender. ;)

JK. It should be a playoff type game though. Time to see what we have on the road vs playoff team.

When the dust all settles, though, remember the Longoria.

I'll go out on a limb and say that the outcome of this game tells us what will happen in round 1...

Yup, if we win this game, we'll get home court.
If we lose, we'll be staring at no HCA against the Spurs or Rockets.

Let's hope we see better then Portland has on the road vs a playoff team. Their road record against the top 8 teams in the west is horrific.

Let's hope the 2nd half of the Memphis game snapped us out of our funk. One thing is for sure--the Spurs are going right at Przy and GO to try to get them out of the game. No one plays lawyer-ball better than San Antonio.

Is there a possibility of no Duncan tonight? For as big of a game as this is, I doubt Pop would risk losing HCA at this point.

He might feel they can win it without Duncan.

They've beaten us without him and Manu before. Parker was ridiculous that night.

Did you know if you say "Tiny Pecker" with a French accent, it sounds exactly like saying "Tony Parker" with a French accent?

They may be *more* effective without Duncan against us, because instead of having LMA defending their best on-court player, we'll have Blake trying to guard him.

We need to put Batum on Parker right from the opening tip and play him 40 minutes, ankle and fouls permitting.
