People who go through the metal detector with their jewelry on, then hold up the line while they take it off.
The people who are determined to never check their bags and bring the ridiculously oversized Samsonite roll-case around with them all over the airport and then proceed to take the entire overhead bin when you board the plane. -Pop
that's me! fuck checking shit in. you lose it, it takes forever to get it in baggage claim and adds 30 min to check in. I pack up to a week in a rolling bag.
If you're traveling for business, I get it. But when I see an entire family with their little rolling bags going around the airport, it's a little ridiculous. There's a reason why the airlines have restrictions on carry-on bag sizes. And nobody wants to be stuck behind the moron in the security checkpoint line while they paw through their luggage looking for their little zip-loc bag of <4 oz. toiletries. -Pop
Its probably been at least 6-7 years since I've checked anything in domestically, even for leisure. Its just such a bitch to add the extra time and waiting at the aeroporte. I'm pretty quick through security...usually from my apartment to the gate in 15 minutes. if you're gone for a week, you don't need to bring that much shit with you. I've recently changed to a duffel bag though, which is a bit more compact for traveling. http://www.onebag.com/
and they've never checked my zip lock, don't even use it. all i have is a mini-tube of toothpaste and cologne though.
this is my current setup. want a nicer bag for my documents and computer...ballistic nylon sucks. Its a Filson bag, there's a store in the Pearl...pretty good shit. Obviously I can't bring suits with that though, I can wear one with...but not multiple ones..but I really don't wear suits that much.
I'll go with airport related: People that put their fucking seat all the way back knowing I have no room to begin with, especially when I'm trying to eat. I had one guy that took up his seat and half of mine (i was in the middle) and required me to raise my arm rest so that he could fit, and he had to get two seat belts. This was a six hour ride, and the worst of my life. If felt like planes trains and automobiles.
Were his dogs barking? TP&A is one of my favorite movies of all time, mostly because I'm more Steve Martin than John Candy.
ADP, if you're looking for something that can carry a couple suits/shirts... http://www.skyroll.com/ I take this and a laptop bag and get a 4-day conference's worth of stuff.
