Their has to be other life somewhere other than here, space is huge, but I don't think their are aliens flying around like people think.

Well, it depends on what type of life I guess. The environment needed to produce life as we have on Earth is rarely found in the universe, to date we know of only a few planets outside of our solar system close to what is required. However, if the type of life is different from our own (which it very possibly could be) then the enviroment required could be completely different from what we need to survive.I'm undecided, due to the vastness of our universe you would think that there would have to be life somewhere, but we haven't found any evidence yet, so it's difficult to say.

Well I was referring to intelligent life capable of rational thought, I guess I should have clarified that.

Maybe, earth is is such a one of a kind...depending on how big space goes finding something like earth is almost impossible to find.

Space is infinite. Space is absolutely huge. Out of all that space out there, how can there not be some sort of intelligent life? We've already found sorts of things in space that resemble Earth, so how is it that billions of trillions of quadrillions of googles of miles away there aren't atleast one kind of intellegint life like us. It's just hard not to believe

True, but so far we have no evidence so support the theory of intelligent life in the universe, so it's really just based on probability right now.

Youd have to think there is more life out there..If every star is a sun like ours , there have to be millions of other planets, there is no way we can be the only form of living life out there..

But very few have a solar system like ours which is capable of supporting life as we know it, that's the thing.
