The Yankees lost to the Baltimore Orioles by a score of 7-5.

I kept hearing from the Yankee announcers that another Yankee pitcher just had a bad game. Well they were right because Chien-Ming Wang pitched like crap. He only lasted 3.2 innings and gave up 7 earned runs. Chien-Ming Wang will always be a number 2 starter. He doesn’t have electric stuff to be a number 1.

Derek Jeter kept the game interesting with a 2 run homer and Mark Teixeira drove in Damon in the 9th inning but it was a little too late. I don’t understand how writers from espn could say Derek Jeter will start to be washed up because it doesn’t seem like it any time soon. I don’t feel like looking for the article but I do know they said it.

The best thing I took out of the game was that the Yankees didn’t quit. This game will show the Orioles that the Yankees aren’t going to roll over and that you must play the Yankees all 27 outs.

Robinson Cano had a nice game. He had an RBI and 2 hits. It doesn’t look like he’ll be in a slump at the beginning of the year.

How about my wrong prediction? I thought the Yankees would win 9-5. I was so wrong. Big money doesn’t buy a good team and we just might see more proof of that this year.

On a side note, I missed American Idol. I wanted to see who was going to get voted off and I hoped it was going to be Scott. Well America did vote Scott off. Thank you.
