would that make us co-division champs? ( i know we lose the seeding rights)
Do they hang banners or make shirts if they are co-champs?
Normally, I am not all for praising divisional accomplishments until I realized we haven't hung a banner this freaking millennium!

No, I think tie-breakers produce a single division champ. Of course, the Blazers can create banners for whatever they like, but I don't think the NBA records it as co-champions.

Well, they only have two games left, including the game against us. We have a really good shot of passing them.

    I believe Minstrel is correct...

... that said, it won't matter after we steamroll through our next three ball games and Denver loses at home to Sacramento (which, of course, will set-up a one game head-to-head match-up to decide who wins the division and, in all likelyhood, the #2 seed in the West).

Good chance? They have to lose at home (where their record is almost identical to ours) to the worst team in the NBA, who are probably tanking it for a lottery pick. And we'd have to win all 4 of our games, including toughies with the Lakers, at the Clippers, and the Nuggets themselves.

I'd give us a 10% chance, which isn't exactly good.

It's on the road and the Blazers already lost to that team at home. The Clippers are a team that's truly better than their record. Baron Davis and ZBo occasionally play like all-stars so if they show up, it will be a fight. It's not exactly a cake walk.

If by "really good chance" you mean slim as hell, then yes we have a great chance of passing them.

Losing to them once is fairly irrelevant. One aberration (as absurd as it was) doesn't change the odds. The Blazers should be heavy favourites in that game.

The Clippers have all the makeup of a trap game/hangover.

If we win tonight, we'll likely be so happy we won't take the Clips seriously. If we lose tonight, there could be carryover. Either way, it's our fourth game in five nights. Basically this one game home stand is like another road game.

All we need is Sacramento to get hot and beat the Nuggets...
