Rockets at Orlando 9:00PM CT Rockets face Golden State tomorrow night, so it'll be a tiring two games. Can't look past Houston for the win though, we've got too much for them to handle.
Great win last night. Golden State only has like 6 healthy players, should be easy. If the Rockets split between NOH and Dallas, they will go 2-1 finishing 53-29. I hope Utah falls to 8, but that seems impossible now. Edit: If the Rockets lose both games to Dallas and NOH, Utah will more than likely fall to 8th. It's win-win.
If the Rockets are giving any thought to trying to duck the 7th place team, they should put their tail between their legs and just stay home Bring on Utah.....and that should be their attitude too if it aint, there is already a problem. I know everybody is trying to be realistic, but if that means trying to duck a team that aint in the top 4, they might as well not be in the playoffs I think it is inevitable that the first round will be Rockets vs. Utah in the 3-6 matchup.
If we purposely lose to push Utah to 8th, chances are we'd finish behind San Antonio in 4th. In the second round we'd have to face the winner of Lakers/Jazz. It's much better IMO to try to win out and get the 3rd seed. Puts us in the best position to make the WCF. Warriors have 7 players that are playing tonight. It'll be interesting to see if Yao can foul three out.
Seems like Yao is being rested for soreness in his foot. Hopefully it can subside on Monday and not be anything serious. Losing him would crush any hope that we had. On to the Warriors game though, Deke has stepped in nicely, with 10 points, 14 boards, and 4 blocks. We're leading in the 3rd quarter but we shouldn't be letting a 7-man Warriors team hang around like this.
