Uhh, there are several gas stations you have to pay inside in the mini-mart, don't you? I guess people in Oregon aren't in as much of a rush as here though....but I hate waiting when there's one attendant and you have to wait just for him/her to get to you. then you have to wait after its done too. such crap.
pumping your own gas is not for us elitist Oregonians or Socialist oregonians. The thought of the "stars" pumping their own gas laughable lol OH NO!! I Versace mega expensive silk suit ruined by gasoline!
I don't notice it taking a long time to fill up the tank . . . maybe I'm just not in a hurry so I'm not really noticing it. Personally, I don't get out of the car when I go to a gas station . . . they just swipe the card and fill it up. I have no problem pumping my own gas, but if someone is going to do it for me . . . I'll just sit in my car and crank up the ipod.
Although their is legislation right now to significantly increase the amount it costs to register your car.
I just ran into a rrather portly man at 7-11, who was trying to buy a snickers bar and a soda with an Oregon Trail card whilst wearing a Lakers jersey. His card failed, as he apprently had no money left on it. At that point I said to him, "It's because you are a Laker fan". awesome
Ya, what is stupid is you have to go inside to pay at many locations. Might as well pump it yourself then especially if you can just swipe a card at the pump.
