OK, yeah, sure, when you look at the boxscore you'd probably say whatever. But, to me, he's just been doing those little, yet effective, things to make me smile....in the limited role that he has on this team. For example, he hit that little jump shot in the key (pulled up over Bynum, no less) when we needed and, if I'm not mistaken, that half-lob to Rudy came at "just" the right time when the Blazer were needing it most...really got the crowd into it at that point. No, I've certainly had my knocks on Serg, but seems like ever since Nate woke him up by replacing him with Bayless those couple of games, he's played under control and has had a positive effect on the team.....and the success that has come with it. Kudos to Sergio! 11 Minutes 4 Assists Zero Turnovers
Yup - Sergio is definitely playing much better down the stretch. Him hitting the shots really helps his game - which is not a surprise - we harped on it many times. If that kid could hit shots consistently and took his turn-over problem under control - he would be a good player. Whenever this happens - he gets it done.
Yeah, part of the reason I posted that "let it bake" thread. Three things stand out: 1) They're good 2) They "genuinely" like/trust each other 3) They're getting more and more experience playing with each other It's proving to be a successful combination. As per norm, In KP I Trust.
Yeah. But I was extremely happy to hear KP said we will be very active this offseason to continue to improve the team (on W@W). Makes me happy, and I think we will have enough cap space to attract some PGs (especially given how good our team is and how perfect a situation the would be coming into at the PG position, IMO).... *cough* Sessions *cough*
As much as I've liked Sergio, if KP pulls off Sessions (or the like), I'd have to keep Bayless and trade Serg. A Sessions, Blake, Bayless backcourt would be mind boggling.
