i think this also. This would be a pretty good breakdown for the Blazers. HCA against the ailing Spurs, and then in the second round (knock on wood) we would go up agianst LA after they finish a physical series against the Jazz. Best would be to somehow be the third seed giving us a shot at two slightly easier rounds, but this break down works also. Just keep us away from the Rockets.
Not to mention that this is a pretty bad draw for the Lakers. The Jazz are not a great matchup for them (I think they would rather face the Mavs), and then they either face a Veteran Spurs team or a Blazer team that is in their head a little bit in the Second Round.
The D-League is trying something new this season with matchups. The first seed gets to choose their competition. I think this is a pretty interesting way to do it. I guarantee that the Lakers would not be selecting the Jazz over the the Maverics or the Hornets.
I think we'll be facing Houston in the 1st round with HCA. Houston ends their season on the road against Dallas, and that should be a loss for them. 1 Lakers 2 Denver 3 San Antonio 4 Portland 5 Houston 6 Dallas 7 New Orleans 8 Utah 2nd round 1 Lakers 4. Blazers Denver Dallas 3rd round Blazers Denver Championship Blazers Celtics Winner Blazers!
uh.....you know we would probably be ahead of san antonio to with the tie breaker. unless you have them winning out, and us losing a game
I have to revise my list. I thought the division winners got positions 1-3, but they changed that rule a year ago. I think San Antonio will lose at least one more game, on the road against Golden State, as they will be coming off a back to back. And I do think Portland will win the rest of their games. 1- Lakers 2- Denver 3- Portland 4- Houston 5- San Antonio 6- Dallas 7- New Orleans 8- Utah 2nd round Lakers San Antonio Winner Lakers Portland Dallas Winner: Portland Finals: Lakers Portland Winner: Portland
