Staples Center Queston

I was curious, do they pull the banners and retired jerseys down and swap them out each game, or are they up for both teams? I know they swap floors and what not, but the camera never pans up really.

 

Good question. I'm pretty sure they just take them down because whenever I watch a Clippers game, and they have the upper arena view I don't see any yellow banners. Seems like a hassle, but between that and swapping floors, it's probably not much. Staples Center also holds concerts and figure skating competition. The LA Kings also play on the court if I'm not mistaken (hockey).

So yeah, they keep the workers busy. lol

 

Maybe they put a big black banner over them? I dunno just saying stuff.

 

I know for a fact they keep everything up. The championship banners and retired numbers are up on the wall in the upper section. They are permanent

If I was an LA basketball fan, I'd probably be both a Laker and Clipper fan.

 

I've never really been to a game before, so all I know about the Staples is from television. Never saw those banners up during a Clippers game.
