So, supposedly some are reporting that Tina Fey was wearing a Blazers jersey at the Clippers game on Saturday. However, Brian Wheeler just said that it probably wasn't Tina Fey, but Kingspeed, who just happens to look like her. So, which would you rather be true--that Tina Fey is a Blazer fan, or that everyone thinks Kingspeed is a woman?
I don't think it was her. She looked very similar to Tina, but it wasn't a perfect match. I laughed pretty damn hard at Wheels just now though when he said it was KingSpeed they were confusing her with. Screen caps? Anybody? HCP?
The last thing I want is to become the "it" team every casual fan bandwagons on. I would hope Ms. Fey supports her local team.
A friend of mine who was watching the game in Oregon (and giving me play by play) said that Fey was shown in a Blazers jersey. Then she said that, given another look at it, it may have just been a red Clippers jersey, not a red Blazers jersey. They look a bit similar from behind, if you only see a quick glance.
it was NOT tina fey. the girl looked kinda like fey but let's be honest, a lot of girls out there have that look. in fact now that wheels mentioned it, kingspeed does kinda look like fey.
I thought the repeated closeups of Darius Miles were kind of funny. Seriously, what was he doing there anyway? Reliving all those warm memories of being a Clipper and a Blazer....?
Definitely not Tina Fey... and MB and Rice made the Palin reference during the broadcast, as well. I thought it was hilarious, but also pretty obvious that it was neither of the two women mentioned... the woman shown was at least 10 years younger than Fey. The first thing I thought of, when they were talking about it on the broadcast, was the "Behind the Locker Room Door" report by Quick where he was talking about how some of the guys are always tryin' to spot "look-a-likes." My friend's and I have been doin' that for years... fun stuff! For some odd reason, we tend to see Kenny Rogers all the damn time! Lives and works In NY, originally from Pennsylvania. Serious doubts she'd be at a Clips game wearing a Zurz top.
Man, the this Blazers board reminds me of RealGM's Raptors board. Eternal gratitude for compliments, lynch mobs for critiques. Even the remote chance of attention being paid to the team by a celebrity is worthy of intense discussion. I guess that's why Bill Simmons refers to both groups as being crazy.
It was not Eric, (kingspeed), nor was it Tina Fey. And no, Eric is not a woman nor does he appear to look like a woman when he attends the Blazer games. You guys are brutal.
