Denver game is still going to be huge. If Denver can come in and beat us taking HCA away from us it'll be a tough pill to swallow and they might feel that if we don't have HCA that it's less likely they'll have to face us in the playoffs.

Several were Sergio to Rudy to Oden for the dunk kind of thing. Lots of tipped passes and tipped rebounds too. He looked really into the defensive end tonight and was a whirlwind out there. His girlfriend was there so maybe that had a little to do with it.

Very nice ball movement and players moving without the ball all night.

If we play that way all the time, we could win a bunch of games or something. :dunno:

Great win, that Bayless dunk should be top 10 material.

Wednesday will be huge! The playoffs can't start soon enough.

    Oden: 16 points, 9 rebounds, 5 of 7 shooting in 20 minutes.

    Durant: 10 points, 2 rebounds, 5 of 15 shooting in 32 minutes.

Yahtzee! I think it's clear that Oden won this match-up tonight.

Now in the past games, there would have been several writers with articles who would say that how they played head to head, that we should have taken Durant over Oden. What do you bet that after tonights game, where Oden played much better, that there isn't a peep out of them even pointing out that Oden won tonight. :devilwink:

Yup, there won't be a peep. It doesn't fit the 'He's the next Sam Bowie and Durant's the next Jordan' narrative that has been built up over the last two years.

Order is restored. The universe is aligned again. If this does not bode well for the economy - I do not know what is...

I think we may be able to get to 45 wins this year.

Not to take anything away from Durant becasue this was just one game, but this was a perfect example of why GM's sway to the bigs with the top pick. In a half court game Durant was just another jump shooter. A freakishly tall and athletic one, but none the less a jump shooter. There are a lot of them out there. (See JR Smith, Travis Outlaw, Martel Webster, Rashard Lewis etc etc ect.)

Now in the open court he is unstoppable, but according to Charles Barkley, jump shooting teams don't win in the playoffs!
