If Moped Monta would have healthy this season, I think they would've been closer to my expectations. I mean we got so much young talent than we ever did in 2003. I'm actually pleased we have so many players that can create their own offense. Now can we get these guys who can create their own offense to create offense for each other and also play defense?
Considering that Monta went down, Baron was let go, and the Warriors brough in Magette, I think the Warriors ended up recordwise a bit better than I thought they would. All things considered, I think it actually turned out to be a pretty good season. I don't think that there are any question marks on the team. The kids showed us what they have, or in some cases are potentially capable of. Had Mullin had this full roster to work with this offseason I'd feel very hopeful for next year. Unfortunately, we have Rowell and Cohan pupeteering... so in that sense, I'm not too hopeful.
Yeah this season wasn't that bad. I expected to see a little more action from our power forwards, but what can you do? We had lots of injuries too. We sort of knew turnovers and defense would still be a problem. I don't think we've had too many healthy teams this past decade.
