So you want to play Houston in the first round? Because unless the Hornets can find a way to win in San Antonio too, that's what'll happen...
Hornets beating a beaten-up Spurs team isn't all that unlikely. I'd favour the Spurs, but not by a lot.
uh, what does houston losing have to do with us not having home court advantage? as long as we win, we will have HCA.
Huh? If Portland wins, they get HCA...regardless of what the other teams do. If the Rockets and Spurs lose, Portland can get the 3 seed.
Wouldn't that top our dream season so far if the Rockets and Spurs both lost tonight provided we win.
Eh.. give me the 4 seed against San Antonio with HCA and I'll be ecstatic. That's my dream scenario. Go Rockets!
I could live with that, but it's living dangerously. The Spurs may be struggling but so is New Orleans. I'm just going to root for the safer thing, Houston, instead of relying on two things to happen.
You think you have a problem... think of all the ladies... Rebecca better hire a bodyguard or the ladies will Nancy Kerrigan her...
And if you know HCP the way I do . . . some men might go Kerrigan on Rebecca. Dallas up on Houston after frist quarter 26-19 BTW-SA is beating NO 22-18 late in the first.
Actually rooting for Houston to win is living dangerously. If Houston wins that means Denver has something to play for and will play their regulars long minutes. If Houston loses Denver clinches the #2 seed meaning a much easier game for us IMO. Personally I'd like to see both Houston and San Antonio lose.
houston loses, san antonio loses we get hornets in round one, at denver round two assuming they beat the mavs (we can do that, hard but not impossible) and then lakers for wcf yeah? i am all for that scenario, means i get like 10+ playoff games
its gonna be us vs the spurs.... only where is in question spurs hornets will go down to the wire. at half... hornets by 2
I want SA, Houston, and Denver to all lose tonight. That is the only scenario in which we meet the Hornets and I think that's who we want. The Spurs are a veteran team that turn it up during the playoffs. The Hornets are an injured team that has lost 5 of their last 7 games.
True, but the playoffs are more important than tonight. The playoffs are all about matchups and I don't like facing Houston. But you're right, there are cons to everything. Everything except New Orleans winning.
