The way the Spurs played the last 47.6 seconds and overtime is why I didn't want to play them. It would have been nice to play the Hornets, however.
Brandon Jr: "Not bad not bad, lets see how you play with the big boys, dawg" Broy: "nika please, did you watch my shot on youtube?"
Here is what the Denver Post says about last night: http://www.denverpost.com/nuggets/ci_12153049 Notice how they don't talk much about the game...
I love seeing Rudy flash that 3 in Chris Anderson's face. Chris Anderson is actually one Nugget that I don't hate. He's a real baller, I wish he was on our team. He's an unrestricted free agent this year, and would make a hell of a backup PF! Can you imagine Anderson and Joel off the bench blocking shots? Nasty!
Andersen is a character. But after serving a 2-year suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy, I'm not sure he has the kind of character KP is after. He'll turn 31 on July 7. So even if the Blazers were interested, I doubt if they'd offer him more than 2 or 3 years, and he'll probably want more than that - and will probably get it from Denver. He also seems a little too caught up in his own stats for me. He's constantly checking with the official score keepers to see how many blocks they have him down for to make sure they didn't miss a block. He seems to care more about his own stats than the score of the game. I'm not sure that focus on individual stats would fly well with the other player on this team. BNM
