No one has stepped their game up more than Travis lately. He shut down Durant and helped shut down Carmello. He shot well and scored 21 pts in each game. One of his strengths is that he plays well under pressure. He will flourish in the playoffs.
i'm not sure about rudy being clutch... and greg did come up big in college. the championship game he was carrying ohio state.
Rudy is getting a ton of support, as he should, but nobody has mentioned the other Spanish player. I think the new seven seconds or Roy offense could be a key against the Rockets, and Sergio will probably be the spark of that offense.
i dont see sergio getting much playing time to be honest. probably get a handful of minutes in the first half but in the second half i could see him just finishing the last minute of the third quarter...three guard rotation of blake, roy, and rudy.
Rudy seems to live for the big game situation, so I expect him to have a huge series. We've seen him step up big time down the stretch here this season when we really needed him after he hit a wall early on. And I think this is also going to be the coming out party for LaMarcus, and people around the country and NBA will finally get to see him play and see why we're excited about him and his potential.
I think if Greg steps up his game, it would have a huge impact, but the guy I think will really make his mark is Steve Blake. They'll focus on Roy and then try to also give help on Aldridge. The guy who will have to make his shots is Blake. And don't kid yourself, the guy is a winner (Go Terps!). I think he'll be up to the challenge.
