    1) Blazer fans are BANDWAGONERS! Like 5 minutes into the game, when the Blazers were getting raped, they started "BOOING" the Blazers.
    2) Blazers were nervous as hell
    3) Great job of attacking Yao in the first quarter as that brought them a bit closer. They should've kept running the pick and roll, Yao wouldve eventually gotten his 2nd.
    4) Where was the front on Yao? I was surprised Yao got the ball cleanly in the post. Pryzbilla was playing with ease
    5) Aaron brooks raped Blake

Again, too many people think Blazers are gonna win. Even ESPN predicted the Blazers to take it in 6 games. Why are people considering the Rockets as underdogs?

Yao is very underrated on defense. All you have to do is look how he contains Dwight when they play eachother. He has excellent foot-work and timing.

I'm tired of people hating on Yao's defense. Half the pussy ass centers in the league don't even contest a dunk. Not looking at this game, but throughout Yao's entire career, he's been contesting not only shots, but dunks as well. Ofcourse thats the reason he gets posterized a lot, and I respect him for that. Therefore, in my opinion, this is what makes him a great defender, because a lot of times he makes the offensive player miss or Yao gets a block. His defense is underrated.

I agree. This is why I either chuckle or don't care when Joel or Greg get posterized because they are going for the block. If they just stepped out of the way instead of going up for a clear contest of the shot people would yell at them and call them weak.

    Rudy runs the floor.

Blake and Roy walk the floor.

Without Sergio, Rudy's value is halved.

I think Nate realized early on we were not going to win, and he wanted to see if Blake and Roy could learn something useful from being out there that would help us win the next games. It didn't look like they did, but I think that's why Sergio didn't play much.

I have no idea why Nic didn't play more, he and Joel were our only aggressors on offense AND defense early on.

Lately, Nate had been telling the starters to push it up the court, and they had been with much success.

Whether by Nate's call or not, they walked it all night, and rarely got back on D either.

    Welcome, four-post.

I've never known the crowd to ever boo the Blazers, even the Jail Blazers. They were booing the refs, whether or not they actually deserved it. I don't care.

    Yes.

Because that's been the trend. It looks like you finally have a shot here. Congrats.

Bro, I've been a member of JustBball, Sportstwo since December of 2005. I lost my password to my other account so I am temporarily using this one till I recover the other password.

What trend? Rockets were considered the favorites when they were 5th seed against the 4th seeded Mavs in 2005. I'm just saying, ESPN and other sources have been predicting the Rockets to lose in 6 or 7 games.

The six straight 1st-round-and-out trend, even after that amazing 22-game winning streak. BTW, I've predicted one title for the Rockets before Yao is done. Not this year, but maybe soon if you get fair trade value for T-Mac. You guys are better without him.

LOL. 1st round exits > No playoffs at all. But seriously Blazers haven't done anything in the playoffs to be getting these considerations as "favorites" in the series. Lack of experience, not being in playoffs in like 5 years are something to consider when picking a favorite.

Portland was crushing almost everyone leading up to the playoffs. 7 blowouts in their last 11 games. It's not like anyone was predicting a sweep. Who knows, the fat lady hasn't sung yet. I don't expect to lose on Tuesday, even if we never win another game.

Yes, really. I'd much rather watch my team compete in the playoffs (Game 7, Game 7, Game 6) rather than no playoffs at all.

Actually, the Blazers have done more in the playoffs since the last time Houston won a series than Houston has, and has missed just as many playoffs. But it's hard to argue who the better team is right now after a game like that.

Despite that, I still have faith in the Blazers. I hope they've really taken something from this game and use it soon.
