Edit: remember HOW they responded that's supposed to read.

Now imagine being the Rockets and every single media outlet in the country picks the young bucks to brush you aside in 5 or 6 games...

Then imagine pulling up to the young bucks arena and there's "UPRISE" plastered all over the building...

Now imagine being the young Blazers, the 10k strong rally, the same "UPRISE" banners on your arena and reading the same articles....

That was a lot of hype for the team to live up to on both sides....

I'm being a bit of a monday morning quarterback but perhaps the front office put a lot of unneeded pressure and expectations on the team.

As we got towards the end of the week I kept thinking to myself, Wow, we're really setting ourselves up for a MASSIVE let down.

Houston's pride was a major factor in that game, hopefully Portland's will play a big part in the 2nd.

    Just some thoughts.

houston has a bunch of tough vets who arent going to just lay down. chuck hayes and artest are strong as hell, and if they play hard, its a real handful for guys like lma/rudy/batum.

Yep, was always going to be tough... The outside forces didn't help any IMO.
