This is exactly why most of us feared this matchup and Houston made the nightmare very very real!!!!! I was at a hotel last night where the Rockets were and they are more than confident and already looking to LA. GOOOOOODDD!!!!

The question now is did this gothic ass kicking make the Blazers understand that this is a street fight? If not the series is over yesterday. If it did than I think game two will feel very much like game 1 but we'll have the victory going into Houston.

Energy and confidence is the only way to beat this team. Artest, Yao, Scola feel that they have already won this series and gotten into the heads of the young Blazers. One Rocket said last night, the Blazers know this series is over cause they can't beat us in Houston and they have to now to take the series.

This is about stepping up and digging in for a fight. We've got to take it from Houston now! Do our boys really want it is the question? We'll see on game 2

That said Nate better adjust the lineups to match their speed and energy cause Brooks and Wafer killed us last night again!!!!

Did you have a talk with the food staff about maybe adding some laxatives to their Tuesday pre-game meal? :devilwink:

Play Bayless on Brooks and/or Wafer...Rudy was alright on Wafer because they both get around fast.

Yao was really pissing me off last night. He was jumping up and down on the bench like a five year old. It's like he thinks the series is over.

my seats are right behind the away team bench and I was noticing that too about Yao. Is it just me or does he look and act like a robot? seriously. The dude reminds me of a robot. He does not look human at all to me. Asians are always making crazy robotic things and I really think Yao is one of them!

Most of the Rockets that were there were beyond confident that they had delivered the death blow to our team and this series was a mere formality to the Lakers! I kid you not!

I hope our boys come out on a mission on Tuesday!

I hope we send some kind of message from the opening tip on Tuesday that this series isn't over and we're ready to fight. We need to get off to a great start in Game 2.
