He had a monster game, but more importantly he was a cold blooded killer. Ice water in his veins. Solid as a rock.

Basically any kind of cliche you can use to describe someone not affected by the pressure. Bulls fans should be very very very very happy for the future.

You could tell he was concentrating, but he didn't seem nervous. He nailed two big free throws like he was playing with his little brother.

That is something that some people have that others don't. Ray Allen was a perfect example in the same game. Boston wins that game if he hits half of the shots he normally hits. He reminds me of Cliff Robinson and Doug Christie, only he is a way more talented player in the regular season.

If Rose has games like this going forward, he is going to be in the finals many times....Lebron might have something to say about that but we will see.

I wonder if we will see more of this from Rose in the series. Sounds like he was unbelievable today.

I think Boston will definitely change up it's defense and try doubling and trapping Rose to get the ball out of his hands. That should free up everybody for more open looks. The rest of the guys need to be ready to move the ball better than they did today.

I am wondering if we will see more this same Tyrus. He was fantastic.

Tyrus looked like a player. A really good player. He reminded me of a smoother looking Travis Outlaw today, some of those shots I was like "No, man don't shoo....ok, good shot"

I am a Blazer fan, but don't want to see Thomas fail like it seems some of us do just to rub the Aldridge trade in. I like NBA basketball, which is why I liked Rose and the Bulls today. As for Noah, the guy seemed really into the game today and that is great too. Love to see the teams enjoy their profession.

    He's definitely a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Pretty much everyone came to play for the Bulls and did something I liked. I got no complaints with this game

Even Vinnie seemed to do his job. He had all the players fired up.

I loved this. Derrick Rose comes out and shows he is already a top 5 point guard in the league and he actually makes his free throws at the end of the game. Amazing game to watch.

Funny thing is, Rose was clutch in the free throw line in the final seconds while Pierce, from KU, misses his. I thought I was going to see deja vu when I saw Rose at the line. I hate the Celtics and I would against them ethier way, but seeing Rose put on a show in front of a National audience was nothing short of spectacular.

Vinny made a huge mistake in this game, and Pierce bailed him out by missing a free throw. At that point, the Bulls again had no timeouts left. This has happened far too many time this year, and it's inexcusable. If Pierce makes that free throw, we have a chance to win the game with a timeout, but we would have basically no chance without the timeout.

That's with having two very seasoned basketball coaches on the bench (Bickerstaff, Harris).

You think he even talks to those guys during the game?

Congrats Bulls fans on the epic win. WHat a great game to watch...Besides Rose, Noah was great (until the foul)...I guess I might have to rethink my "bust" label I predicted on him.

The Bulls big men are shaping into form. I think as early as next year, Tyrus Thomas will be talked about as being better than LaMarcus Aldridge, he might actually be better than Aldridge now. Because if you look at it, Tyrus Thomas is a much better defensive player, and a slightly better rebounder. But if you look at scoring, Aldridge has a greater volume in scoring, he doesn't score with any type of efficiency, and I think he is Luol Deng like, in that he will wilt in the big moments.

Thomas was labeled as a project coming out, but no one wanted to give him time to develop. If he stayed all 4 years in college, he would be part of this draft class. He is starting to develop into a good player as well.

With Joakim Noah, the entire thing with him is being in shape. He was pretty good at the end of the season last year. Then he started out this year completely out of shape, and played like crap. But once he got into shape, he played great. His scoring efficiency (59.4 TS%) and O-Rtg (123) are just ridiculous. He was second to Ben Gordon in win shares this year.

Noah actually bought a personal trainer who lives with him, and makes sure he sticks to a strict diet. Noah said he is going to work on getting that strength in his legs this summer. Because right now, while he's a good rebounder and active, he is just average on defense, because he can't hold his position in the post. If he gets that leg strength, he is going to be a really good center for us. Hopefully this experience of playing in the playoffs keeps him motivated to work out hard in the summer.

I'll be waiting til after next season starts. If he comes in out of shape again I never be a fan of his.

Him and Tyrus have a long way to go, imo, to becoming consistently productive. They both still have a lot of bad habits and still need to learn the game better. Tyrus must have one of the lowest NBA IQ's out there. The things he does sometimes are ridiculous dumb.

And Paxson are making Noah and Thomas stay in Chicago for the whole summer, if they don't get traded that is. But I still won't believe Noah can develop a work ethic until I see it with my own eyes. I don't want to see those skinny chicken arms anymore. lol.
