lol nice.. although there was a couple one on one moments where blake played him nice.. but too much gambling off of him. And losing him off the ball.
"Instead of worrying about adjustments to make against the Rockets, the Blazers instead worked on their most basic of plays and defensive sets. While the Blazers fully acknowledged the excellence with which Houston played Saturday, they felt they strayed from their strengths." This is the last thing any Rockets fans want to hear. Avoiding tape and getting in a good practice is the smartest thing to do today. I want to hear how they are gonna change, watch tape and adjust, but they are sticking to whats worked for them all season. If they come out and set the tone early at home on Tuesday, this series could go seven games. Anything can happen in a game 7.
That's encouraging to hear. I don't think anyone -- players, coaches or fans -- wants to experience that night ever again. It was probably a good humbling experience after all the hoopla over the previous few days about making the playoffs and people actually talking about facing LA in the second round. We made Houston look like NBA champions in Game 1.
To be fair, it was a swiveling bar stool. Those are tricky for even the most nimble of people to handle.
