If you hadn't hit that goddamn last second three against the Hornets on the final night, it would be the Blazers destroying a weak-ass New Orleans team tonight. But nooooooooooooooooooooooo. You had to drill it. Thanks a lot.

EDIT, okay it was Michael Finley. SAME GODDAMN SENTIMENT!

Finley's shot wouldn't have mattered if James Fuckin Posey didn't choke like Steve Blake at the foul line.

It was indeed Finley and it was Posey missing his free throw and David West deciding not to help out and put a hand in Finley's face when Posey got hit by a pick.

If the point of the playoffs is to win a title, you'll have to get through the tough anyway. I'm sure we would take out the Jazz and NO, in the 1st round, but we happened to get a tough opponent.

This is such a ridiculous opinion. If we would've won that game at GS, or vs. the Clips, Magic, or Sixers then we would've had that 2nd seed. We didn't. San Antonio controlled their own destiny, and they won the game. Fair and square. Brandon Roy made a couple last second shots to win Blazer games. Opposing team fans should be making threads titled "FU: Brandon Roy" as well then?

So what if we have to face Houston. They're a tough, seasoned-playoff opponent that we can learn A LOT from in terms of physical play and defense, as well as how to play a playoff series. We're fortunate to have gotten that 4th seed that over half of other NBA teams wish they had gotten. Be happy that we're already overachieving.

FU Portland timekeeper? Roy's 1.5 second shot should have never counted after Yao's gamewinner = Rockets #2 and Portland #5 against San Antonio and LA in round 2.

and for the slow ones, I am kidding.

Thinking about it, most would've preferred that situation. SA are no longer a major threat without Manu.

The thing is, Finley's shot shouldn't have counted against the Kings. It was clearly after the light had gone off but the refs wouldn't look at the replay.

Sorry, you've got to play the hand you're dealt. If the Blazers want to be a championship team, they can't wail that they want to play Team A and not Team B; they have to be ready to beat any team. The Bulls did not cry that they got Portland instead of LA in 1992 or LA instead of Portland in 1991. They beat LA, Portland, Phoenix, Seattle, Utah. That's what the Blazers need to aim for.
