I was completely impressed with the way he responded to a poor first showing in his first playoff game: absolutely dominant performance against some very good post defenders (or at least very physical post defenders) and some really stout defense himself against the entire Houston frontcourt. He's going to be so scary good in two more years.
He kept us alive in the second quarter no doubt. He's developed so many pretty post-moves it is unbelievable - and he'll only continue to develop more. Add in some more ferocity and meanness to his play and it's all goooooood.
Yeah, I wasn't psyched with the way he started the game, but he came on strong. That's the LMA we all know he can be.
I love this team! The guy I'd like to see more out of now is Travis. His shot hasn't been falling these last two games... so if he can hit and Oden can stay out of foul trouble, we'll be able to steal a game in Houston.
That second quarter was tremendous! LaMarcus was a beast, and every shot was not only going through, it was barely touching rim. Aldridge manned up tonight and played GREAT
