Stepping up in the postseason. Hitting big shots this year, coming up with key defensive plays/steals.

    He's a fucking beast.

Glad that you noticed Utah plays some stellar D and are turnover prone ;) This is the same team that just made CJ Watson & Rob Kurz look all-world a week ago.

    Sign him over Odom.

Glad to see how well his shooting turned around after not being close to this in the past.

The Lakers have finally found a decent SF to fill the spot. And he's developing as well, nice to see him knocking down some important long-ranged shots.

I think it is obvious he is more valuable than Odom to this team, at this point. He's only 24 and is still about 4 years away from his prime years. There is so much room for him to improve and turn into a Caron Butler type of player.

Yezur, he has all the potential to become an all-star caliber player. But it would be good if me manage to keep them both, cuz Odom is actually really important, even in the locker room - he's a nice guy. But yea, if we have to choose, then Ariza>Odom in my opinion as well. But luckilly for us, Lamar has already said, that he's willing to take a pay cut.

Well yeah I agree Odom is important, especially in the locker room. However, I still don't think we're going to be able to keep both without putting this team in salary cap hell forever. I'd rather keep Ariza. I'd like to keep both, but I think Ariza is more important.

    Keep Ariza.

Use Jordan + AMMO to trade for Lamar's replacement.

Whatever happens though, whoever we keep, I have faith this organization will make the right decision. Jerry Buss is a winner, he knows what it takes to win, and Mitch has shown he is more than capable of using his magic wand to pick up a key piece, if necessary.

Trevor is only 23 btw :]

CJ Watson is good, Rob Kurz is okay for a 12th man.

Manislaw Thota called Watson a scrub. He is wrong.

Rob Kurz is thug, so of course he is good.

So there's no way we could sign both of them, even if odom cuts his salary?

Obv there is. It just depends on how much money they want. I'm personally pretty confident that Mitch will find a way to keep them both, cuz they are both important pieces.

There is a way to keep them both, but it depends on how much $$$ they want and how much $$$ Buss is willing to spend. He's said before that he's willing to pay the luxury tax if the team he has can win a championship. Obviously, if we win it all this year, I think there is a great chance you'll see both Odom and Ariza back next year.

It's going to be a matter of how much Dr. Buss is willing to open his wallet, and I think if we want to have our best shot at getting them both back, we need to win a title this year to prove to him that he has a team that can win a title.

I prefer Ariza slashing to the rim and not settling for 3 pointers. I don't mind him taking those shots in the flow of the offense, but I don't want him to loose his aggressiveness attacking the basket and causing havoc in the paint.

I've been saying the same thing too Shape. While his jumper has improved, he's still at his best when he's attacking the basket.

I don't mind him chucking an extra three per game at home, he shoots better there. In Utah he's got to be more savvy though.
