Josh Howard. Deng is a better shooter, and defender. However Howard is better at getting into the lane, is a better finisher, and a much better garbage player. He can also hit the open shot when needed
This is actually bery tough. Good comparison.I'll take Deng bc of his versatility. He can pretty much do anything on the court; post up, hit 3's, defend, rebound. Howard is a good defender, but not as good as Deng.
I will go with Deng slightly. Better defender, better shooter and he is a versatile scorer too. Only 20 or 21 as well.
This Deng guy must be pretty good because Howard is our second best player on our team. Of course I pick Howard but I haven't watched Deng to do a fair pick.
Hard to pick whos better. Deng does everything Howard does, plus and addition of being a better shooter. I would give Deng the minor edge, I guess hes better
I'd take Howard as I see them as very equal...they do alot fo the same things...but Howard is the #2 option on a top 3 team, and I think is a better role player than Deng...But only slightly...A better question is who'd you take Tayshaun Prince or Josh Howard...now that'd start an arguement.
Tayshaun Prince to Howard really isn't close at all. Tayshaun is a MUCH better defender, and who knows how much he could score outside of Detroit's system. but don't get off topic.
I'd put them on par overall...Tayshaun is a better defender, but I think Howard is better allaround. But your right...back on topic.
Does someone have Deng's numbers?I'd like to see that before I'd switch the two. I mean Josh just meshes so well with Dirk and Terry and the Mavs as a whole.
