No...I don't think they will even get to 50. Their next 2 games after Houston will be tough. They have Dallas then Miami. They have Charlotte after those 2 games. After Charlotte the next the next 5 upcoming games are:PhillyNew YorkNew JerseyNew OrleansDetroit. And they have New York, Washington, Boston and Atlanta after that.I think they will go 5-6 in April. Only leading to 46-35. Or it might lead to 45-36 if they lose today.

he would definately be in the MVP race for sure. he has all the stats to be an MVP.. he needs to be more of a leader i guess.

If they win 50 he still won't get it, because the Suns will win 55 games or so, in a much tougher conference. Also, youi'll have the Lakers winning 41+ games with a crap team, giving Kobe consideration. Then you'll have the Mavs winning 60. He'll be a First Teamer for sure, bot not the MVP

so for him to win MVP, say next year, what would he and his team have to do?

Overall, his numbers are better than Kobe's, too.IMO, top 3 MVP's: Nash, Kobe, Bron

^Agreed. Now if the Cavs played in the West, against that competition in their division, I'd give it to him.

No, you wouldn't, because Dallas and Phoenix are already in that position.

I don't think LeBron will get MVP even if the Cavs win 50 games, there are too many players having a better team and personaly good season (Nash, Billups, and Dirk). LeBron should however get the MVP this year before Kobe does, he is having a better year than Kobe, 81 points or not.

Lebron is having a better year, but Kobe is holding up a bad team to the same level as the Cavs against much tougher competition. But what I meant about Lebron would have a chance if he played in the West and won fifty games, is because he would have taken a mediocre Cavs team to 50 wins...Now granted, if the Cavs played in the South West Divsion, they'd be neck and neck with the Grizz for the 3-4th best team in the division.

There's no way LeBron races from a non-prime-time MVP contender to a sudden winner. It's Nash and Dirk, right now.

If the cavs win 50+ games lebron should get some heavy consideration for MVP. But i think its Nash's award again this season.
