Let's hope so. We could have the greatest lieutenants and captains in the field, but if our generals and commander in chiefs are either morons, bad decision-makers, or both, game over man game over! I'm speaking of our management of course. We could have Red Auerbach and it'd still be the same result because franchises in the nba are built on great owners and great franchise players. The warriors haven't seen either. Don Nelson's the only good thing we got, but we know we ain't going far with him even if we had top players. He doesn't get his guys to play D or halfcourt and it's because he goes smaller, trading quickness for size/strength.
He might look like that, but that background of NBA playoffs wouldn't be behind him. Boy we sure are pessimistic aren't we.
Well we're probably pessimistic given that our market is pretty good for basketball and our management has consistently been making teams that are losers except for that one 2007 season. And we are probably repeating history all over again once Nelson gets fired or retires.
