buzzer beaters, last plays and who got them and missed.... we are losing because we are being outworked!!! The Rockets are getting two and three possesions on offense due to crashing the boards and getting second chance opportunities. Good night people give any team three chances at a bucket on a pro level and there bound to make it. Than on offense we don't use our speed and young legs, hell noooo.... We let them set up, bump us for 3/4 of the shot clock ,and then we put up a jump shot that Yao gets to scoop up and throw to a cutting Brooks or Wafer for a defensive no show on our end. We couldn't be playing their brand of basketball better!!! The Rockets deserve to win this way!!
how bout both centers being out by 1st quarter because of lame ass calls, or how Broy can drive get bumped hard by Artest and NEVER get the call. Seriously I know some want to just say we suck or whatever but these refs are pulling way to much weight in this series and to me have pretty much decided the outcome of this series.
The rebounds are not coming by a total lack of effort, like people tend to blindly say anytime a team is out-rebounded. Front Yao is giving a 7'6" center, inside position. Then someone like Blake gets beat off the dribble and LMA has to slide over, now Scola has nobody blocking him out. Our lack of a 7'6" center and a PG who can stay in front of his defender are causing us to get out-rebounded.
Here's the thing... we have not fired a hard shot at Yao yet. We need GO or Pryz to put him on his ass once and get him honest. It's worth the foul. The same has to happen on Wafer and Brooks. The entire Rockets team knows they can push us all over the court. They are beaming with confidence cause instead of us getting mad we run away and take whimpy jump shots. It's like a bully at school, turning the other cheek just means he has another one to punch! We've got to fight and we are not. The Lakers have beaten Houston with a softer team than we have and with two 7 footers far weaker than ours. The Rockets are beatable, we are just not playing our game!
