I'd have to say Joakim Noah. He's been a beast on the boards and defense.....along with a smattering of offense....and, IMO, one of the reasons the Bulls are tied with the Celts right now.
Yeah, I could agree with that. As well, though, I believe he had raised the level of his play as the season progressed.
A ponytail j/k Noah isn't a scrub, guy is pretty legit shotblocker and plays with passion I want to say Shannon Brown & his 3pt shooting barrage....
Noah is a good high energy defensive C that should end up like Camby. His passing is very underrated as he was a PG when he was a frosh in HS then he grew like a foot in the next year, sometimes he needs to tone down his intensity to prevent getting fouls though.
He plays with a lot of energy. That energy has contributed to putting him in good situations. He may not be a scrub, but he's role all the way. I also believe that Greg's injuries/weight have affected his inability to play with a higher level of energy.
Noah is the type of player we need. A guy with a motor. For such a close knit team with good chemistry, it is odd to me that we don't have a player who fits that kind of role. If there was anybody who fit this role on the team I would say Batum. I have been impressed with Noah's play these playoffs. Also, while definitely not a scrub, Rondo has definitely stepped up his game.
No. Joel is that guy. Joel killed on the glass in the second half of GAme 4. Unfortunately, he threw that one rebound away. But he still had a great game. 12 rebounds when we really needed them. We need it again tomorrow.
Gotta be Michael Ruffin. The Ruffin Man is averaging a phenomenal 1 board a minute in the playoffs! He's played in only 1 game, and we've won only 1 game. They weren't the same game, but there's got to be a correlation in there somewhere.
Are you sure about that? I've never heard that about Joakim Noah. Tyrus Thomas was 6' throughout most of high school, and played point guard in high school.
