That's gotta be the worst home loss in playoff history. I mean, how do you lose by FIFTY-EIGHT points at home??? In the playoffs? This game was as big for New Orleans as was our game last night. Could you imagine if we lost by 58 last night? People would be calling for a roster revamp, a new coach/GM, etc.
Memo to Jeff Bower..CP3 sucks....must trade to Portland for Sergio and $3 million.. Memo to Jeff Bower..CP3 sucks....must trade to Portland for Sergio and $3 million.. Here's a question: how does a team come back from that next season? I mean they are already over the cap and don't have much flexibility going forward and a notoriously cheap owner who already tried to trade away their franchise big. I wouldn't be shocked if they failed to make the playoffs next season.
That's gotta be the worst any kind of loss in playoff history. 121-63. I'm sure there hasn't been a loss in the history of the playoffs that has even come close to that.
That's the kind of blowout the Blazers need to pull off tomorrow! The rockets wouldn't be able to show their faces after that
I want it in Game 7. A solid win tomorrow, a close win in Houston, and then a demoralizing killing fest in Game 7. It happened to Houston in 2005. Houston led 2-0 (both games on the road), but ended up losing in 7. They lost Game 7 by a score of 116-76.
Ironic that an SA 3 when the shot clock was expired set us up to face the Rockets, and a Scola 2 when the shot clock buzzer was expired gave them the pivitol game of the series. Getting screwed all year long...
I just like to daydream about what could have been had we played San Antonio or New Orleans. Instead of blaming the refs for our losses, we should blame the whole damn thing on Michael Finley for hitting a huge three against the Hornets during the last game of the season to send it into OT and eventually winning the game and the 3rd seed.
Ok ok ok ok, wait. Is this the poor officiating I keep reading about? I mean really, what did any of those shots have to do with the officials screwing over the Blazers?
Have to agree. Whatever happens, and I'm not conceding, the Blazers are going out fighting, at worst. The Jazz, with no chance, put up a fight. The Bulls, the 76ers, they are underdogs making the series exciting. The Pistons and the Hornets look like they're not even trying. Just go home and take the family to the beach for the summer.
I have talked about this before. I don't think everything is ok in New Orleans. I have noticed through out the year that Paul and Scott seem to have skirmishes during the game, and at certain points of the game, Paul just quits listening to him. So the question is, will Paul go, or will Scott go. Usually the coach. But there have been those rumors out there that they would offer up Paul if a team would take their 2 biggest bloated contracts off their hands.
I heard on TNT it tied a loss by the St. Louis Hawks vs. the Minneapolis L*kers in 1956. Remarkably, St. Louis won the next game.
