Kobe - B: Waited too long early in the series to get into it. Was fucking killer in game 4. Good in game 5, but dribbled too much.

Odom - A: Fucking awesome. Enough said.

Pau - C: Terribly soft. Very disappointed by his play.

Shannon Brown - B Solid effort. Loved his play.

Ariza - B: See Shannon Brown.

Bynum - INC/F: - Phil is at fault for this. Whether it is the knee or not, he needs to be given a chance to prove himself. We bitched about having him for the playoffs, and we do have him and Phil doesn't use him.

Fisher - D: Uh...Did he have an impact?

Sasha - D: Uh....just like he was in the season.

Am I missing anyone of importance?

I agree with all the grades. Lamar deserves an A+. He's the MVP of the series. But of course Kobe made all this happen. Pau was quiet, seems like Boozer took him out his game a little, but he was still helpful I guess... Trevor and Shannon were great as well.

    Kobe- B for his standards.
    Pau- C+ for his standards
Odom- A- for his consistency. A/A+ is for Superstar type of play, LO was awesome but just a notch below that.
    Shannon- B, love him.
Fish- D, low IQ plays from him.
Sasha- D, caused that stupid run at the end of game 5.

Bynum gets an incomplete, and a C- at best for when he played. He looked terrible, and was getting bad looks too. That goes on our staff I guess, but also him.

Odom was huge in teh series, but I wouldn't call him the MVP. That game 4 by Kobe was just straight up killer. He slit the throat of the Jazz, who had a glimmer of hope after stealing game 3.

Odom's impact was huge, but it just seems like it didn't determine the outcome of the game. He had an awesome game 3, but we still lost. And in game 5 in the clutch, he was pretty bad. He watched as 4 rebounds, at least 4 that is, that should have been his, go into the hands of a Jazz player. He got lazy.

Kobe was easily on par or better, but for his standards I think, one can grade him a bit lower.

    Kobe was the MVP though.

I will let you know this now because Phil probably already knows this. The Rockets, and the Jazz have a better shot at beating the Lakers with Bynum.

I agree with you guys' grades for the most part.

Odom was fucking killer in the series. Reminded me of how he absolutely dominated the Suns a few years back in the playoffs (though we lost that series).

Kobe had to be the series MVP. The Jazz had some type of hope after they stole game 3 from us, but Kobe came out in game 4 and promptly curbstomped that hope. He was absolutely killer in game 4, never giving the Jazz a chance.

Kobe and Lamar had bets when Drew was out and LO was beasting. Lamar told Kobe that they can have real bets in playoffs (or smth like that). So far, he hasn't blinked :ghoti:

Could you please explain how? Cause I don't see how. He gives us added depth that is always much needed for stretch runs in the playoffs, and if he's healthy, no one, aside from Yao, can guard him in the post.
