HTC Mogul Pocket PC x SPRINT I kind of want a blackberry. might switch to t-mobile too....they have this neat wifi-feature that lets you go on wifi networks.....and use your phone for free. been out of a contract for a few years...so that might be good. http://www.gadling.com/2009/04/27/gadling-gear-review-t-mobile-blackberry-curve-8900/
T Mobile sucks, their coverage really sucks. Blackberry's are decent, depending on the model. I have the Tmobile Curve. If I could do it over, I'd go with Verizon.
Have you ever tried a blackberry? I have always used PPCs and to me, blackberries are crap compared to them. The best phone out right now is the HTC Touch Pro. You should look into it.
yeah, thats my hangup about them...tmobile and AT*T seem to suck coverage wise...Verizon is supposedly the best but they don't have wifi on their phones and are more expensive....sprint has been fine with me for the most part....don't really want to re-up a contract.....
i have the Mogul which is the previous to the Touch Pro....I'm have insurance on my phone and maybe they'll upgrade me next time my phone breaks...shot in the dark..but it happened last time (from 6700 to 6800). its just the keyboard kind of sucks...the blackberries seem better and faster to type on....lots of better aps....easier to twitter, facebook, etc
I hate the keyboards on blackberries. I was seriously considering buying one but typing shit out was taking forever because the keyboard buttons are so small and I'd keep hitting the wrong ones. People say you get used to the keyboard over time, but that's bullshit because I had my last phone for almost a year and never got used to the crappy keyboard. I recently reactivated my 6700 just because it's still one of the better phones out there even though it's like 4 years old. Also, most of the apps available on iPhones and blackberries are also available on PPCs if you just google for them.
Verizon and Blackberry Storm. I like it. Would rather have IPhone probably but it won't work with corp email... so that isn't on option. Had my Zune stolen recently and now listen to all my music on Storm... works nicely... and for radio I just stream over internet... Slacker works nicely but there are others. Bluetooth stereo is one thing I don't think IPhone has. I also like the Storm's keyboard... the buttons click and I love that... I like it better than the older BBerrys with keyboards on them.
If you are going to look into a cell phone I would suggest the HTC Diamond2. http://www.htc.com/www/product/touchdiamond2/overview.html
Please. I'm so Dustin "Dirty Sanchez" Diamond, it's not even funny. http://www.flickr.com/photos/mugomilk/221252482/
Blackberry Storm x Verizon Next phone will def. be the next gen. Iphone most likely. Looks like the iPhone may come to Verizon (they are talkin' about it).
The Diamond2 does have a virtual keyboard (like the iPhone or BlackBerry Storm) and from all the reviews it's one of the best ones out. The Touch2 has the same keyboard but I really don't see the point of having a virtual and physical keyboard on the same phone.
