We need to win this game.. Mavs and Spurs getting too close for Home Court.I think we will win this if we dont go too easy.. Most guys on Pistons know this is a BIG game for Home Court. But I think we got this since we are at home.. the only thing that doesnt go on our favor is I think J-Ho is back and Mavs havent played since Saturday (Game is Tuesday).Prediction-Pistons- 88Mavs-85
I think it will be a very close, hard fought game. With all the implications, my prediction is Detroit 96, Dallas 94
Mavs beat Pistons by 37, and we have matchup advantages at...EVEN at Center (Diop/Damp vs. Ben Wallace)Power Forward (Dirk vs. Rasheed)Shooting Guard (Rip vs. Stack/Daniels)You guys are making close predictions because you know you got killed by 37 last time, and Mavs own this matchup.Mark MY WORDS, WE ARE GONNA GIVE Y'ALL A HEARTBREAKA

Same with Damp. PF- Dirk Will have a good game most likely.. and at SG the pistons depth beats the mavs Rip/Delfino/EvansEven if we dont have matchup advantages at SG or PF. We definitly own the Center.. Ben/McDyess/Davis(wont really play unless blowout)..
Dallas bias BS from waqas. You shouldn't come in here with that talk. Makes all Mavs fans look bad.Pistons win by 8, and let the Mavs know who the best team in the league really is.
Lolz, wait, wait, hold on.DeSagana Diop and Damp are one of the best center combos in the NBA. Probably the best. Just watch 'em tomorrow night... Damp is top 5 in offensive rebounds, and Diop averaging like 2 BPG is like 10-16 MPG, something like that.Dallas has a better bench, though, that's the Mavericks advantage.

lol Waqas is an idoit!! Diop and Dampier?!?! the best center duo in the league!?!?! hahahahahahaha oh man i needed a good laugh. Shaq and Zo are the best. Then you have to go Ben and Dyess. yeah Dirk might be better offensively but his defense sucks. I see Ben, Dyess and Sheed all having big offensive nights. Come on boys this wont be close. Pistons by 15
Do not underrate Diop. he is a solid player and he is improving so much that he is starting instead of Dampier and Dampier seems more confortable off the bench.Watch out for Rawle Marshall too. He is Very dangerous just like Howard-who might not play.I think we will come out of it though with a tough 104-98 win.Dyess will play as good as he has and i think that Ben, Sheed, and Rip will play good too. I just hope that Chauncey will break out of this slump that he is in .and it might not be by 37 points but we well avenge ourselves and get it done.Go Pistons!!!and I like many are calling it the game of the year!
I respect the Pistons and think the Pistons will win this game but I do understand Waqas as why he likes the mavs Diop and Dampier combo. In short minutes they are very effective. Statistically they are more effective than Ben if you count their stats together compared to Ben in a 48 minute game. That is just fact.
Yeah, but since the Diop/Dampier thing has started, the Mavericks are 30-6. Since Zo and Shaq combined, they're something like 49-25.
Yeah but the Shaq/Mourning Combo isn't as good as people are hyping it up to be. The Heat still have a lot of weaknesses ata defense. PG, SG, and PF. Haslem is overrated is overrated as a defender. Undersized at PF and Walker is even worse. Detroit is better on defense but not ready to crown them as the champs yet.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>MAN THAT GAME HAD HORRRIBLE CALLS</div>Yeah like the tech on Chauncey? and the foul on Delfino? haha i guess you are right but the better team played through it. This was a good win for the pistons but they still didnt play their best. But we will take the win and go out to philly and win again tomorrow. Only 12 games left and we are 2 games ahead of San Antonio and i think 3 ahead of dallas. Bar a major meltdown we will have the best record. So solid win but not our best.
Yeah we need to start resting the Starters more.. we got this big win.. now we can start let them rest for the playoffs.

I mean I didn't hear you saying this crap when you predicted a 37 pt win. Good job to Pistons though, they just played better basketball in the final minutes.
^ Thank you Rok. I understand that sometimes little trolls might come into other boards running their mouthes, and I understand that doesn't reflect the view of all of the specific fans.Great game. Pistons lit it up from downtown and Chauncey played a great game.I like our chances now for the best record.

We are 2 games ahead of SAS, and 2.5 games ahead of Dallas. Our hardest opponent the rest of season is vs Phoenix, and @ Miami. I think we have the best record as long as the starters get things going early so the bench can finish the game with a win through April.
