I said if the Rockets can atleast steal Game 1 or Game 2, then we'll have a good shot at taking you guys. We're the toughest matchup for you guys from the West. I think Brooks will rip Fisher apart though. Fisher is too slow to keep up with Brooks.

That's funny, because besides one game this season, Brooks has played pretty horribly against the Lakers.

In the earlier games against Portland, Brooks has taken a shit on Blake. He'll be heading to the 2nd round with the same confidence :D

I actually completely forgot that we swept Houston in the regular season when I made this thread. Therefore, I wouldn't be surprised to see LA in 4. I'll stick with LA in 5, though.

At least this season, we lose to the best team in the NBA and not some whack ass Jazz team.

You saw the last 3 games.

Game 1: T-Wack's team, not the Rockets team
Game 2: Kobe hit a three over Battier to win by 1. He went off in the 4th to win. Rockets were up the entire game until he hit that buzzer beater.
Game 3: The Rockets were up late in the game, Kobe went off and won.
Game 4: Kobe scored like 17 points in the 4th after Ron pisses him off.

Check the box scores if you would like. Kobe's clutch factor killed the Rockets in the regular season. You can't rely on one player to win every game in the 4th, but Kobe can do that.

Look like game one will be Saturday, if Denver vs. Dallas' game 1 is on Sunday.

That doesn't seem right. I think TNT got their days confused?

There is no way we play Saturday if Houston and Portland go to 7. It has to be Sunday, no?

Maybe they are doing the East on Saturday and the West on Sunday?

When we closed out, they said we'd be playing this weekend. But there is a possibility of BOS/CHI going to 7, MIA/ATL going to 7, and HOU/POR going to 7.

    Weird...

The commentators need to get their shit straight before making announcements.

Don't forget magic/philly. Howard and lee are out, this is sixers' chance.
At least the Lakers have an advantage, because by that time they've had plenty of rest.

Don't be surprised if Houston chokes at home tonight. They've been terrible in close out games and all the pressure is on them. The Blazers have figured out how to slow Yao down by fronting him in the post and the officials are going to allow even more contact the longer this series goes, which favors Portland.

The key is the play of Aldridge. He finally broke out in the last game and should play with confidence tonight.

In regards to the Lakers, Houston doesn't have enough fire power to handle our team. Lakers will pick their defense apart and speed the game up to neutralize Yao.

I know we struggle up in Portland, but I think we'd take that in 6 at the most.
