Stern has already taken care of it, don't worry.

DaRizzle, there's nothing wrong with you that a good anti-Lakers intervention, and perhaps a large dose of Exlax, couldn't fix. ;)

Yeah, the Lakers sure would need a rest before facing the Blazers, wouldn't they? Of course, they could well end up with a really long rest afterwards!

I want it to go to seven because I have never attended a game 7 live. As loud as the RG was in the last game, I think it would be far, far louder.

Besides, I think it would be interesting to see who can handle the pressure and who can't. This goes for both teams, not just Portland.

A series with the Lakers would be amazing. I don't hate Houston. For some reason that team doesn't really piss me off. The Laker series would be filled to the brim with hate.

Yea besides, after a game 7, you are playoff tested for sure. Especially if you win. Young Blazers no more. Playoff tested Blazers from there on out.

I'm curious, do the majority of Laker fans see the Blazers or the Rockets as an easier match? Seems to me that if I was a Laker fan, I'd want the less experienced Blazers, but then there's the fact that the Rockets struggle to score most nights and probably have the less talented roster.

    ....Don't know, just curious.

As a Blazers fan, how refreshing would it be to play a Lakers team in the next round that isn't very motivated on the defensive end, unlike Houston. Roy and Aldridge would be giddy to face a an opponent that isn't all about holding and grasping and bumping. It would be fun to watch!

If we go to game 7 against the Rockets, and if we have that game well in hand down the stretch - I can't wait for the "Beat L - A" chant to start!

Not to get ahead of ourselves or anything . . .

Not really, no. I don't feel he is a dirty player like Bowen is. I just think he super physical. It's a man's league and Artest is nothing if he isn't a man.

In fact, getting Artest in the off season would be a dream come true for me. Start him next to Roy and LaMarcus and other teams would shit themselves with fear. The one big thing Portland doesn't have is an intimidating defender who is a little bit psycho. Artest would fill that role nicely.

artest would be huge for us.

if we can get kidd and artest this offseason, we should be considered one of the favorites for the title next year.
