Finally got to see the game. Not the ending for the year I was hoping for - but at the end of the day - the Rockets won and advanced - congrats to them - and the Blazers got to the playoffs as their goal for the year was - and were in the series for just a while.

Good year. Here is to a better next one.

I'll be very much interested to see if Yao can go a single game against LA with 2 or fewer fouls - as he did in the last 4 games of our series.

congrats to houston, they outplayed us and made the fewer mistakes as they should for being the veteran team. Taking game 1 really screwed us..and the game 4 questionable calls/bad rebounding. lakers somehow have houston's number and will win in 5.

We all knew Houston was the worst matchup for us, and if we had New Orleans or San Antonio, we'd still be playing. Just a shame. But yeah, congrats to Houston. They deserved it and had us on our heels for most of the series. I still won't be rooting for them though.

Great series guys. You guys are a young team with a lot of potential. In the coming 2-3 years, I'm just wondering how raw Brandon Roy is gonna be. You guys have a bright future. We just wanted it more this year and I'm glad we finally broke that 1st round curse. Again, I thought Game 6 was the best reffed game out of all the games. Goodluck to you guys in the future, and thanks for all the debate/arguments we had throughout this series! Watching this series made me not only like the Blazers, but also love Brandon Roy, dude is amazing! Good luck to ya fellas, stay tight and root for us against the Lakers!

Well said. Rockets played a very good, very physical series without the cheap shots. Great experience for the young Blazers. We'll get ya next season!

I always end up hating the teams we play in the playoffs, but theres not much to hate re: Houston. You just beat us.

Good luck rest of the way. I dont give a fuck who wins.

    But good luck.

This will be a good series.

I can't wait to see how the refs officiate the Bynum vs. Yao matchup. Somehow and for some strange reason, I don't think it's going to be officiated the same way as Oden/Pryzbilla vs. Yao was.

And now it's Kobe's turn vs. Battier/Artest. Of course Kobe is good enough that he makes difficult shots look routine and easy. Plus the refs are going to call alot more for Kobe than they did Roy, so I wouldn't be surprised if one or both of them get into foul trouble at times in this series.

Scola vs. Gasol should be interesting too. Hopefully their hair doesn't get tangled up with each other.

 I think our biggest advantage will be the point guard matchup. Aaron Brooks is going to take a shit on Derek Fisher!

Man, guess all the trash talk comes to end. I hate-hate-hate refs controlling the game, and I have to agree it wasn't consistent for both the teams. Going into games, I'm sure even the players didn't know what to expect - whether physical play was going to be allowed or not. That's why I'd get pissed when fans complain about refs, but I know it happens from fans of all teams (including Houston) - heck I complained about refs in Game 2!

So, I'd like to apologize for the rude and/or disrespectful comments - hope nobody took it personal, just bball hype from a diehard fan!

Anyways, going into series I thought we'd take it in 6 for sure. But after Game 5, I was dubious - because I knew if Rockets blew game 6, series would be over. That being said, pretty surprised at Brandon Roy's play and Aldridge overall performance. They're definitely both underrated, and only because Blazers don't get much publicity. But I expect Blazers to gain popularity after entering the playoffs this year after a while - and to be honest, things only look brighter for Blazers. I mean, Brandon Roy is BALLER!

I know how much some Blazers fans hate Rockets right now, OH YES - Rockets fans know all about it. ehm ehm... Jazz.

Anyways, good series with the Blazers. Definitely gonna follow them more closely, especially B-ROY!

Nice talking to you guys - and sorry for hi-jacking Blazers forums lol - ours is pretty much dead give us a break!

Future only seems brighter for Blazers - BELIEVE!
