W.T.F. Jose Canseco has *supposedly* agreed to face 7-foot Korean giant Hong Man Choi in Dream's open weight tournament (first round). Canseco has no mixed martial arts experience but claims to be an accomplished martial artist (note: he isn't) and has a few exhibition boxing matches under his belt. Choi has competed as a professional kickboxer for K-1 and in mixed martial arts, fighting luminaries such as world #1 fighter Fedor Emelianenko and former top heavyweight Mirko Cro Cop. Other announced fights include Gegard Mousasi vs. Mark Hunt, Sokoudjou vs. Jan Nortje, and Bob Sapp vs. Minowaman. Sapp already has a fight booked against Bobby Lashley. Japan--where freak shows happen.

Re: Jose Canseco vs. Hong Man Choi, Dream open-weight "superman" tournament announced Meh, if it was kickboxing I think there would be no chance of Canseco winning, however with his size he probably could take HMC down, and at worst LaynPray, at best (if he picks anything up from training for a month or whatever) pass guard and lay some GnP or get a Rear naked choke (not that hard to learn). I really don't know how good Canseco's conditioning is at this point though, and how difficult it would be for Canseco to land a takedown. Hmmm, as well no steroid testing in Dream right?

In wrestling being really tall generally doesn't help, and HMC isn't the most coordinated guy around. As well if Canseco is on steroids then that could help. Canseco if he is smart looks to fight this one on the ground, he has no chance standing.
