Hinrich obviously doesnt deserve anything more...I was referring to Rondo nba.com Unnecessary? Check Excessive? Throwing player into scores table count? I think so It would suck in the sense that the series has been so good and you want teams to have their best...but he should be suspended
Due to the fact that it's a decisive game seven, I can understand the lack of a suspension. The league will want to milk this series for all it's worth, and they wouldn't be able to do that without the Celtics having Rondo. However...I'd say he should be suspended. He did clock Miller in the face and got away with it (though Howard did something similar and got a suspension...) and then he chucked Hinrich in to the scorers table...I'd say that deserves suspension. Too bad the NBA wants what's best for ratings...and that'd be to have both teams at full strength.
^ Watch the tapes again Moo, what Howard did was absolutely sickening, he tried to hit the guy from behind on the back of the head, which could have even killed him if it had really struck him hard enough, while Rondo went for the ball, missed it, and hit Miller on the face, and even that wasn't bad, yeah some blood came out, but that was Miller acting like a pussy, it's not like he's a saint, he's one of the most dirtiest players in the league. (especially when he was with sactown) As for the Rondo ruling, finally the league does something right, Rondo deserved a technical for what he did and so did Hinrich for going after him, he basically wanted a fight and was ready to punch, you can see his hands.
HALF THE FUCKING FOULS IN THE LEAGUE CAN BE VIEWED AS UNNECESSARY AND EXCESSIVE. STOP FUCKING HUMILIATING YOURSELF LIKE THIS.
I only saw what ESPN showed, and the angle wasn't that great and it didn't look like it was too bad. I guess I could very easily be wrong though. However, I still thought the Rondo foul wasn't exactly pleasant. He did take a pretty hard swipe at Brad's head, even if he didn't mean to. Then throwing Kirk down wasn't too kind either. He also threw an elbow after that, though it didn't connect...had that connected, I can't imagine that he'd have been suspended in a heartbeat. But, as it is and as I said, I'm ok with no suspension. This series has just been too good to not see both teams with their full teams in tact.
No, you're providing shitty, irrelevant 'evidence' to try and prove that players from your most hated team should be suspended. And you look like a fucking dunce in the process (to everyone except BG7).
the NBA RULEBOOK is "irrelevant evidence"???...and other nuggets of info you would like to grace me with?
'Unnecessary and excessive' pertain only to flagrant fouls? lol. You aren't excused just because the idiot who writes the rulebook can't word his statements correctly. Idiotic blanket posts like you just made are what make you look foolish.
Wait, youre telling me that he went for the ball? Are you kidding me? If you plan on deliberately fouling, dont go for the ball while its in the air because its likely it will be close to the head and your swipe/foul will be off. Wrap the arms up or something. He admitted to doing it on purpose and still no action was taken against him. Then he throws Kirk into the announcing table and doesnt get ejected.
