OT: Lebron wins MVP

I think KG is a great player with some annoying habits, I just wouldn't defend the punching.

Ultimately winning is all that matters, punching is awful but it wouldn't shy me away from Jordan obviously.

Because Jordan had the balls to stand up to bigger dudes. Because Jordan was trying to motivate his own team rather than ridicule the other team with childish antics. Because Jordan came through in the clutch, not like KG bricking FT's in game 5 of the finals last year when it mattered most.

Because:

a) KG very rarely does something that is actually out of line. 99.9% of the petty bullshit comments you hear against him are just that, petty bullshit.

b) Anyone who follows anything other than Laker basketball would know that LeBron is a much better MVP candidate to Kobe.

No you didn't understand, why are you of all people lecturing to him about homerism? That was my point simply, I have no problem with the criticism. Kobe was sub-par for his standards, though he was better against the more talented teams and should have more than one MVP.

What? Did you watch the video? Jordan talks about punching Steve Kerr right in the eye during practice. The only thing in it about Cartwright is him telling Jordan he was going to break Jordan's legs.

anyway, enough childish, KG-like behaviour, LeBron got the MVP, so what, even kobe said so when he said he really really really really really really wanted a chip. LeBron played an excelent reg season and deserving of the award. i am glad he won and not some A-hole like peirce or kg or wade (dont know why i dont like wade, just a gut reaction). i do however want to point out that i also beleive, like many other laker fans that kobe played an excelent reg season as well and im am still immensly pleased he still plays for the lakers. Go Kobe!
