I can only think of Joel Freeland and Petteri Koppenen. Is there anyone else we have staged across the pond?
Nikita Morgunov Career: CSKA Moscow (Russia-Superleague, 1995-97), Atletas Kaunas (Lithuania-LKL, 1997-99), Portland Trailblazers (NBA, 1999-2000), CSKA Moscow (Russia-Superleague, 2000-02), Avtodor Saratov (Russia-Superleague, 2002), Dynamo Moscow (Russia-Superleague, 2002-03), Makedonikos Kozani (Greece-ESAKE, 2003-04), Dynamo Moscow Region (Russia-Superleague, 2004-07) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nikita Morgunov arrived in Portland in January of 1999 with the ambition of becoming the second Russian player after Sergei Bazarevich to make it in the NBA. A year and a half later he returned with two wasted years spent on the Trailblazers’ injury list. Morgunov never actually played a single game but managing to add and another 20 kilos to his frame. Upon his return to Europe, he showed everyone what his true worth was averaging 15.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game in the 2001 FIBA Suproleague Final Four. Morgunov is an aging center with relatively slow feet but he is still a big factor whose courage and love for the game are ageless.
He's been retired for 6 years and he's 38 years old. So if the Blazers have his rights, KP may as well wipe his ass with it. We still have the rights to Fredrico Kammerichs, but he's just a Euro-league scrub.
Speaking of Ha, I have it on good authority* that Portland will be bringing Ha back for training camp this year. barfo *I'm fibbing
According to RealGM, we also still own the rights to Doron Scheffer, who also must be retired by now.
The photoshop of Ha and Sinanovic in Soul Calibur was priceless. probably the highlight of that season.
Forgot about Ned. 7'3, eh? The stats STOMP cited really aren't bad for an end-of-the-bench goon for Oden to beat up on in practice. I wonder if Portland will bring him over for training camp instead of using Mountain Man.
