So you want to send letters to a Houston newspaper complaining about Rockets fans and actually expect anything to come of it?
As far as I'm concerned, any sort of negative PR for that team after their own security turned a blind eye to that crap is time well spent. -Pop
Wise man. Don't forget to increase your font size just a little (not too obvious) and to adjust the margins on all pages.
I'm still trying to figure out where all these allegations are originating from. Not a single Rockets fan I know of that attended the game believes this happened or would condone it if it did. Some actual evidence instead of hearsay would be nice.
How about something from a non-Portland based source? There were thousands of people in attendance, including plenty of national media.
so something from a Houston based source? that would be just as biased as a Portland based one.. so basically it is unprovable with that reasoning.
Q) How many times have I heard Mike and Mike claim a fan did something this bad? Or ever address a specific fan incident? A) Never
Bottom line, if you put 15,000-20,000 people in one room, someone is going to be an asshole. I don't think Rocket fans are any better or worse than we are.
For this type of allegation, a Houston-based source would actually be more credible. I think it's easier for a few people to make up a story like this after a disappointing loss than for hundreds to turn a blind eye to it after a win. But, like I said, any source that's not Portland-based would be nice.
Fair enough, we can agree to disagree.. to me no-one would have anything to gain to report this, regardless of where they are based. And like Maxiep said above.. it doesnt represent you guys as a whole. Put that many people in one place.. you are bound to get some idiots.
