Anderson Silva has expressed interest in boxing Roy Jones Jr. when his UFC contract expires (four fights from now, barring a champion clause). Jr. has reciprocated that interest. Now, Jones is upping the ante.

I could totally see Anderson stiking to just boxing and not throwing kicks and not even trying for a takedown just to make it more fair and to challenge himself.

that way Dana can have another potty mouthed tirade after the fight
"I don't f**king get it, Anderson didn't even throw a f**king kick, let alone go for a f**king takdown. This is MMA bro, you throw kicks, you go for takedowns.. I feel sorry for the f**king fans, they were let down and Roy f**king Jones Jr. was given a f**king break by Anderson Silva and he f**king capitalized on it."

well it'd be something like that anyways :D

Just boxing. Roy would beat the hell out of Anderson IMO. Now full MMA, Jones is asking to be murdered. He wont survive one round with the SPIDER.

both fighters would tool the other in their own sports IMO. Both are capable of landing a KO shot to win in the other's sport, but chances are it wouldn't happen more than 1 time outta 20.

IMO Dana is right to refuse this fight in the UFC. He's about building the sport and not putting spectacles like PRIDE and DREAM have done because it becomes a case of can you top this?
