Knowing what we know now after 2 games, how do you think the series will play out?

I never underestimate the Lakers but I think it's gonna be tough to get a win in Game 3. They are definately going to have to play better than they have in the 1st 2 games of this series I know that much.

My prediction............ Lakers lose Game 3 and the winner of Game 4 wins the series.
    Thoughts?

I'm sticking to my prediction Lakers win this series in 5 games. Rockets are going to implode when they lose game 3.

The bottomline is the Lakers are the better team in this series. Houston has given us a great two games, but they barely beat us at our worst in Game 1 and Lakers led almost the entire way in Game 2.

Houston is relying too much on Artest for offense and I can't see him shooting this well as the series moves forward. The percentages are going to sway back in our favor and I can't imagine him being as focused in Game 3 after what went down. Artest will try to do too much and it's going to disrupt Houston's offense. He has these self destructive games when he loses focus.

Rockets in 5 or 6. They have played like the better team so far, both in terms of basketball and class.

I stick by Lakers in five. If the Rockets do win game 3 (which they won't), then it'll be Lakers in 6 when they have a full team again. I can't imagine the Rockets will stick around in this series. They're relying heavily on Artest, which will not work to their favor at some point. They also have a tendency to ignore Yao in the post (and have had that tendency for years now), even though he's got a huge height advantage on any player on the Lakers and has hardly missed in the playoffs when he gets deep position.

Really? Last time I looked the series was 1-1. They played like the better team once.

Our game 2 win > their game 1 win in terms of convincingly winning.

Class? Since when does that matter when it comes to winning?

After tonight's game, it should be 2-1 Lakers. But either way, at worst, we're splitting in Houston. There is no way in hell we're going back to LA down 3-1.

So much for my Lakers in 5 prediction. I won't be surprised to see this series go to 7 games now.

I voted Lakers in 6 in the beggining. I didn't think the Lakers would go away without a fight but I never imagined that they would have embarassed the Lakers the way they did in Game 4. Actually the Lakers embarassed themselves in my eyes. I think they can still get it done in 6 though.
