Man, I want to make a thread about how good Kobe really is. lol

Lakers fans will be like "but you hate him," YES I DO! As the opposing team fan, I hate him for how good he is. If that makes any sense.

He's sixth now; Jordan, Kareem, Shaq, Malone, and West have more points.

I hate Yao as well. I've always said Dwight > Yao, but Yao is a bitch to stop. You don't really have to worry about Dwight on offense. Yao is a warrior too, him and T-Mac are polar opposites. Match made in hell.

Would you trade Bynum for Yao?

Yao's a beast but I doubt it. He never gets any rest, plays the entire season and then goes over to China to play in the summer. Knowing his injury history, and his height, I don't think he has a bright future ahead of him unless he starts resting and taking care of his body. I admire Yao though, he kept fighting last year in the Olympics when China had no chance to win.

Personally, with Bynum, if his teammates could stop injuring him for once, I still see him being a 20/10 guy. Not to mention our window is huge. I'll definitely take that. I still have a lot of faith in the kid, he just keeps getting bad breaks.

So no, I probably wouldn't. This isn't a knock against Yao, obviously he's heads and shoulders above Drew right now, I just like our 5 year window of being able to compete. I don't know if Yao can even hold up for 5 years...

I really like Bynum, he's probably my favourite Laker.

If the contract situation was identical for both, I would take Yao for the next 5 years.

Well, I have my doubts he'll be able to hang on for the next 3. Unless he starts giving his body some rest, and I don't know if that's possible. He just got injured yet again and he's going to miss the most crucial game of the series. I seriously have my doubts he'll last that long.

For his sake I hope he can take some summers off and relax. Good luck to the guy.

Wow I was expecting to see Timmy D in there. He has been to late rounds multiple times. Does Kobe have any chance to go past West and the crew?

Of course, but in future seasons, we don't need him to average 35+ PPG the rest of these playoffs. ;)

Yao should get some rest now, because he has said that he doesn't represent China anymore.
